Fireblocks, a renowned custodian for digital assets, has recently announced a new integration with Injective, a prominent blockchain company. The collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of Injective among leading institutions globally. Injective shared this integration on its official X account.

The integration by Fireblocks allows major entities to directly access the $INJ token and seamlessly onboard onto the Injective ecosystem. In a recent post on X, Fireblocks highlighted its popularity as a custodian in the digital asset sector, trusted by over 1,800 top platforms. The company has also facilitated secure transactions of digital assets worth over $4 trillion and gained attention from large financial institutions for its cutting-edge security features. Notable clients of Fireblocks include major banks such as Paribas, BNP, BNY Mellon, and HSBC. The company has also received over $1 billion in funding from global investors like Coatue, Sequoia Capital, and BNY Mellon.

The integration with Fireblocks marks Injective as one of the earliest blockchain firms to be officially integrated by the company. This integration enables entities to securely stake, hold, and access local Injective assets on Fireblocks. Eric Chen, CEO and co-founder of Injective Labs, emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding institutional adoption. He sees this integration as a significant step towards realizing the company’s vision. The integration not only allows institutional consumers to securely leverage Injective’s fast blockchain but also grants them access to a wide range of decentralized applications on the platform. This enables famous institutions and funds to deploy capital and connect with applications conveniently within the resilient Injective ecosystem. Fireblocks serves as a gateway into Injective’s native apps, including lending, trading, and money markets. Injective aims to onboard more traditional entities onto layer 1, supporting the transition to an exclusive Web3-based financial realm.
