INTMAX, a well-known Layer 2 zkRollup platform, has revealed PlasmaCon, an official event during Japan Blockchain Week. The event is set to take place on July 31st in the vibrant city of Tokyo. PlasmaCon aims to gather some of the most influential figures in the blockchain industry, such as Ethereum Co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum Foundation researchers Justin Drake, Public Works Founder and Gitcoin Co-founder Scott Moore, and Plasma researcher and INTMAX Co-founder Leona Hioki.
PlasmaCon will focus on exploring Ethereum scalability and privacy solutions, catering primarily to builders. The event will delve into alternative methods for scaling Ethereum and improving privacy solutions, with discussions on scalability solutions, privacy enhancements, and diverse applications of blockchain technology. Scheduled to be held at the United Nations University from 12:30 to 17:00 local time, PlasmaCon will follow this year’s EDCON Tokyo.
PlasmaCon 2024 holds significance as it marks a renewed emphasis on Plasma technology, originally conceived by Joseph Poon and Vitalik Buterin in 2017. Despite being somewhat overshadowed by Rollups due to user experience issues, Plasma is experiencing a resurgence. Vitalik Buterin recently addressed this in his blog post titled ‘Exit games for EVM validiums: the return of Plasma.’
The event will be limited to 400 attendees, offering them the chance to interact with more than 15 experts from across the globe. Attendees can anticipate engaging discussions, Q&A sessions, and networking opportunities with industry leaders.
Highlighting the strength of Plasma technology, Leona Hioki, the Co-founder of INTMAX, emphasized the current robustness of Plasma technology. She stressed the importance of revisiting Plasma, Statelessness, and Privacy, underscoring that PlasmaCon has brought together influential visionaries who have made a significant impact on the tech industry. Hioki encouraged individuals to participate in the event in Tokyo on July 31st.
Committed to supporting innovative builders and fostering insightful discussions within the Ethereum realm, INTMAX serves as a stateless Ethereum Layer 2 solution. INTMAX enhances scalability, privacy, and security, positioning itself as one of the most efficient native Ethereum L2 solutions available. By minimizing on-chain information, INTMAX effectively reduces computational and storage overhead, enhancing censorship resistance.
