Stream and Azarus have announced a new collaboration that aims to bring together the streaming and gaming communities. Azarus, a leading Web3 layer that specializes in game streaming services, operates as an open platform providing interactive and engaging digital experiences to enhance content engagement.

By leveraging the interactive overlay feature, Azarus has been able to distribute over $2 million in rewards and engage nearly 500,000 simultaneous players in top Esports and gaming events. This partnership will focus on enhancing these interactive experiences and expanding beyond Twitch to connect different streaming networks. It will also prioritize deep audience engagement to create dynamic content driven by the community.

The recent acquisition of Azarus by Animoca Brands further expands the Metaverse streaming capabilities, with support from Stream’s expertise in developing dynamic community-driven content. This collaboration aims to connect fans, creators, and gamers together, providing comprehensive interactive experiences and meaningful interactions between consumers and content creators.

Azarus has a strong presence on major Twitch streams, featuring game releases like Assassin’s Creed, Esports competitions such as Capcom Pro Tour, and events like the Streammer Awards. As a partner on Twitch, Azarus will work with Stream to enhance use cases by linking streaming networks and providing a solid foundation for communicative streams.

The platform will onboard numerous streamers to build a broad audience network, unlocking new opportunities for streamers in terms of rewards and community engagement. Azarus’ founder and CEO, Alex Casassovici, commented on the collaboration, stating that it will fulfill the vision of a distributed, permissionless, and open approach to developing interactive stream content.
