MultiversX, a groundbreaking blockchain protocol known for its horizontal scalability using sharding technology, has recently revealed an exciting new partnership. The platform has joined forces with eCornell University to launch a comprehensive and fully funded project aimed at providing blockchain education to underprivileged students. Prior to this, MultiversX has successfully collaborated with prestigious institutions such as ELTE Budapest and the University of Vienna.

The collaboration between MultiversX and eCornell University marks a significant step in MultiversX’s dedication to spreading education globally. In addition to organizing hackathons and introductory blockchain courses, the platform has established partnerships with leading universities and colleges worldwide. The joint effort with eCornell University focuses on introducing a groundbreaking initiative to deliver technology education.

As part of this initiative, MultiversX will introduce a pilot program called the “Blockchain Essentials Certificate Program” this summer. This project aims to provide certificates to one hundred disadvantaged students from various parts of the world. MultiversX has committed to sponsoring the tuition fees for these students, prioritizing access to blockchain technology education.

Furthermore, this initiative will allow students to explore the vast opportunities within the revolutionary sector. Participants will engage in the project, utilizing MultiversX’s tech stack and completing a hands-on challenge upon finishing the course.

CEO Beniamin Mincu emphasized that this initiative enhances accessibility to technology and drives innovation in the blockchain industry. He highlighted that blockchain is an open book that anyone can explore. The CEO also mentioned that this partnership with eCornell University is just the beginning of a long-term collaboration aimed at simplifying builder onboarding to Web3 and fostering innovation in the blockchain sector.
