Fhenix, an advanced blockchain platform that integrates Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) into its Layer 2 architecture, is set to host an exclusive event that promises to enrich the understanding and utilization of cryptographic techniques among developers. The event, termed Encryption Day, is scheduled to be held in Brussels as a concurrent event during EthCC, an annual Ethereum community conference, on the 9th of the following month. This gathering aims to bring Ethereum-focused developers together in the heart of Belgium, where discussions and demonstrations about the practical applications of Multi-Party Computation (MPC), FHE, and Zero-Knowledge (ZK) protocols will be detailed.

With over 1,100 registrants to date, Encryption Day is poised to be an exceptional networking and learning opportunity for cryptography enthusiasts and blockchain developers. Its agenda features presentations and keynote speeches from industry luminaries, with notable experts including Ed Felten, co-founder of Arbitrum, and Justin Drake, a researcher with the Ethereum Foundation, being among the speakers. Additionally, representatives from leading entities like Aztec, Gauntlet, ZKSync, Zero, RISC, StarkWare, Zama, and Fhenix are set to participate, further enriching the event’s content.

Over the course of 7 hours, participants will engage in diverse panel discussions and informative talks centered around encryption techniques. These include a session by the Fhenix team on the integration of confidential and secure artificial intelligence within blockchain systems. Another panel, featuring Fhenix, ZKSync, and Polygon representatives, will delve into the distinctions between FHE and ZK technologies. Moreover, the Ethereum Foundation will address the encrypted mempools, with the subsequent sessions covering topics such as Confidential DeFi and End-to-End Encrypted Blockchains.

Encryption Day offers an insight into the latest advancements in privacy technology, alongside a comprehensive overview of cryptographic trends that shape the Ethereum ecosystem. For those interested in attending, additional slots are available, allowing them to gain valuable knowledge and network with like-minded professionals at EthCC, a comprehensive conference that runs from the 8th to the 11th of July in Brussels. This gathering encompasses panel discussions, workshops, and conferences, all aimed at deepening understanding of blockchain technology and its primary applications in the Ethereum space.
