Blum, an enthusiastic cryptocurrency trading application, has recently secured a substantial investment from The Open Platform, a venture builder platform. According to The Open Platform, this funding enhances Blum’s position as a rising contender in the DeFi and Web3 arenas.
The Open Platform Invests in Blum Following Its Involvement in the ‘Most Valuable Builder’ Initiative
The investment from TOP comes shortly after Blum’s participation in a promising project initiated by Binance Labs. Blum has joined the crypto exchange’s “Most Valuable Builder” incubation program, which has previously provided significant funding to the platform. With backing from both TOP and Binance Labs, Blum is advancing its mission to expand cryptocurrency trading across multiple blockchains.
TOP is reportedly dedicated to fostering widespread adoption within the Web3 space. To achieve this, it utilizes the unique capabilities of the TON blockchain alongside Telegram’s extensive user base of over 950 million. As a result, it aims to accelerate the development of promising projects like Blum, while also providing a robust toolkit for building on TON.
Reports indicate that Blum has earned a prestigious standing among the most influential projects within Telegram’s mini-app ecosystem, successfully onboarding up to 85 million users. This achievement underscores the platform’s commitment to user-friendliness through its intuitive mini-apps, which enable even those unfamiliar with cryptocurrency to easily access Web3 features.
Investment Enhances Blum’s Functional Presence in TON and Telegram
Blum’s CEO, Gleb Kostarev, shared insights on this development, noting that following initial support from Binance Labs, the platform is actively creating a trading application designed to function within the TON ecosystem. He praised the critical support provided by TOP as a significant player in the industry. This investment is expected to bolster Blum’s presence on both TON and Telegram.
Furthermore, Andrey Klebanov, Managing Partner at The Open Platform, spoke about this initiative, emphasizing its importance for the ongoing advancement of the TON ecosystem. Klebanov stated that this collaboration will enable users globally to interact with Web3 technologies more seamlessly.
