Alchemy Pay, a renowned platform that provides a hybrid payment infrastructure for both crypto and fiat currencies, has recently announced its latest partnership. According to Alchemy Pay, it has expanded its support to Tether’s USDT and Circle’s USDC stablecoins on Celo, a blockchain network that is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and mobile-first. The platform took to social media platform X to announce this exciting collaboration.

In addition to the announcement on X, Alchemy Pay has also shared more details about this new venture in a comprehensive blog post. The platform highlighted that Celo has integrated both the USDT and USDC tokens on its mainnet. This integration allows users to acquire these stablecoins directly on Celo using native fiat currencies and regular fiat payments.

By extending support for USDT and USDC tokens on Celo, Alchemy Pay enables users within the robust Celo ecosystem to leverage these stablecoins. Celo reportedly has over 1,000 collaborators across 150 jurisdictions. On the other hand, Alchemy Pay offers easy access and unparalleled support, catering to both newcomers and experienced crypto enthusiasts who wish to onboard Celo-USDT and Celo-USDC.

This collaboration combines the unique features of both Alchemy Pay and Celo, offering users an unmatched experience. Last year in May, Alchemy Pay integrated cUSD and CELO tokens onto its on-ramp platform, allowing users to interact with these digital tokens easily and compliantly. Celo, with its mobile-first blockchain, aims to provide cost-effective and fast payments worldwide, while also targeting global adoption. Its Ethereum compatibility and real-world solutions contribute to the creation of a resilient digital financial ecosystem. Celo’s platform is supported by a diverse community, including ecosystem collaborators such as Deutsche Telekom, Opera, and Telefónica.

On the other hand, Alchemy Pay operates in 173 jurisdictions worldwide, ensuring broad access to cryptocurrency purchases and offering a wide range of payment options. The platform supports conventional credit cards like Mastercard and Visa for domestic transactions, as well as local mobile wallets. With over 300 native payment channels, Alchemy Pay continues to expand its reach to regional mobile wallets, providing users with a seamless checkout experience.
