Whale Retrieves Millions in Aftermath of Phishing Scam

In a recent development reported by PeckShieldAlert, a well-known cryptocurrency whale, identified as “0x2154…9382,” has successfully recovered a significant portion of the funds that were lost in a phishing attack. Just 24 hours ago, the user fell victim to a phishing scheme that involved a Permit signature, resulting in the loss of approximately $6.91 million worth of $LQIDETHFIV1 tokens.

A whale with the address “0x2154…9382,” who was targeted by a phishing scam and lost around 1,807 $LQIDETHFIV1 tokens (equivalent to approximately $6.9 million), has received 1,415 $LQIDETHFIV1 tokens from the address “Fake_Phishing328653.” This indicates a partial recovery of the stolen assets. Interestingly, it has also been reported that the victim sent 362 Ethereum (ETH) to the scammer’s address, suggesting a possible ransom payment to retrieve the stolen cryptocurrency.
